Introducing this season’s new addition to the Levi’s® Vintage Clothing Timeline collection: the 1961 TYPE III 557 TRUCKER JACKET, a faithful reproduction of the 1961 trucker jacket. In 1961, President John F. Kennedy declared the goal of sending a man to the moon. On the ground, the President established the “President’s Commission on the Status of Women,” chaired by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. Freedom Rider buses also headed into the Southern U.S. to advance the civil rights movement. The new jacket born in this era became slimmer in response to changing times, and features a double-sided Big “E” Red Tab™, dark copper shank buttons, side waist adjusters, and pointed pocket flaps—something never seen before and now iconic.

Shrinkage of approximately 10% may occur after washing. (Actual shrinkage may vary slightly depending on washing and drying methods. In particular, tumble drying may cause greater shrinkage than indicated. Thank you for your understanding.)

Even if hemming is requested, shrinkage as stated above will still occur. Please be careful when selecting the length.

This product may fade. Please be careful of color transfer to light-colored garments, leather goods, and upholstered furniture. When washing at home, please read the care label attached to the product and be mindful of color transfer to other items.

A Red Tab marked only with “(R)” is not a defect, and is treated the same as a Red Tab that includes the LEVI’S(R) wording.
As this is not a defective item, exchanges and returns cannot be accepted. Please also note that the type of tab cannot be selected in advance.
